Art Journalling

I've been playing at Mixed Media Art Journaling.

It 'just so happens' that I found an online [free] journalling course running the 1st week of my sabbatical. This was great because it was always going to take a while to wind down, and this gave me something different to focus on - but that I could access at times convenient to me. It meant I started doing something different, something spiritual, and something I would never have found time to do normally!

Check out Jenna Burne!

Creative journalling is meant for the person rather than for showing to others, but here's a sneak preview so you can understand a bit of what I've been up to......

What might God be saying?

As you create something, you kind of 'switch off your brain', or maybe use it in a different way! If you are open to God in the process, sometimes your thoughts will be guided to a particular Bible verse or theme. If you start with a theme or verse, you can be surprised where your creative journalling takes your thoughts and prayers......

Plus it's fun, and God says it's OK to do things that are fun and you enjoy!!
